Rules & Regulations

Please review the Rules & Regulations for Cultural Participation below.

  1. Registration is mandatory for all participants/groups.
  2. A non-refundable registration fee of $50 per group is required to confirm participation.
  3. Participation certificate will be provided only to registered groups who complete their performance.
  4. All performances must be family-friendly and culturally appropriate.
  5. Any inappropriate language, offensive content, political messaging, or religious hate speech is strictly prohibited.
  6. Swadeshi Mela reserves the right to reject or stop any performance deemed inappropriate.
  7. Performance time limit will be assigned by the organizing committee and must be strictly followed.
  8. Participants must submit their final audio/music tracks before the deadline provided by organizers.
  9. Groups must report backstage at least 30 minutes before their performance time.
  10. Participants are responsible for their own costumes, props, makeup, and performance materials unless otherwise approved.
  11. Fire, dangerous props, glass items, weapons, smoke effects, or hazardous materials are not allowed on stage.
  12. Organizers are not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
  13. By registering, participants grant Swadeshi Mela permission to use photos/videos of performances for marketing and promotional purposes.
  14. Performance schedule and stage allocation decisions made by organizers will be final.
  15. Swadeshi Mela reserves the right to modify schedules, categories, or participation rules if necessary.
  16. Failure to follow event guidelines may result in disqualification without refund.
  17. Participants must maintain professionalism and respectful behavior with volunteers, organizers, and fellow performers.
  18. Submission of registration form confirms acceptance of all rules and regulations.
